I know I haven't been writing much lately. Here are just a few bullet points of recent events:
- Jack will sometimes take his "little people" (these little plastic figurines) and will make them kiss. It's beyond adorable.
- Speaking of kissing, Jack got his first kiss from a girl. An older woman (by a whopping six weeks) gave Jack an open mouthed kiss, which made him smile from ear to ear. Unfortunately, after we left, this same little girl made out with Jack's best mate, Kyle. Poor Jack, I don't know how I'm going to break it to him.
- And more kissing...Kyle was over the other day and Jack went over and gave him a hug and a kiss. Kyle was not impressed. I guess I will need to teach Jack personal boundaries.
- It seems like every day Jack is learning a new word. And Jack stunned me with finally pointing to his nose and teeth. I guess he was listening to me all those times I was trying to teach him (who knew?).

A blog in bullets. Grandma loves it. Keep it coming each week if not each day.The best thing about getting back to Dulles airport was seeing little Jack in the car waiting for us and making like a rocker when I sang him the ABC song.
I think that Jack only kisses cute things (Elmo, kitties, ceramic kitties, finger puppets, mommy, kyle). I am going to have to play up a cute factor to get a kiss. And maybe Kyle was impressed but he was feeling so guilty about kissing the girl behind Jack's back he didn't know how to react.
I got a kiss Sunday, Jeanine. I think he likes to pucker up his lips into a little kiss bud! Grandma
